Architect from France. "I am a graduated architect since 2014 and civil engineer student at Ecole Centrale de Lyon. Fascinated by nature and especially biomimicry, I did a “world tour of biomimicry” from 2015 to 2016. Working with 4 international experts such as architects, researchers and practitioners, I learnt the practice of biomimicry in architecture and civil engineering. I will start a PhD in multi regulation, regenerative architecture and biomimicry in 2017."
Building engineer from Italy "I’m an Building Engineer and during my academic and professionals experiences I’ve had the opportunity to pay specific attention to the energy aspects, developing simulations and evaluations applied both to new building projects and building renovations. My first ideas when I take part to a project is the efficiency of the system. I like sharing work experiences with other people and I work in all context."

Architect from Romania. "I'm a romanian architect passionated about history, art and sustainable evolution of culture and communities. I've experienced both the practice in an architecture office and, as a freelancer, I've worked on projects from areas such as architecture, urban and landscaping design, interior and graphic design. In the last years I've been a member of Rhabillage Association, NGO focused on the integration of the cultural heritage in the urban development process."
Civil Engineer from Latvia "I am a young researcher who has obtained his PhD in Riga Technical University, Heat, Gas and Water technology institute, in the field of building engineering systems, specifically ventilation and energy efficiency. I have also been directly involved in the knowledge spreading by enthusiastically participating in lecturing process for Riga Technical University. I have also worked as building engineering systems designer for more than 9 years."
Civil Engineer from Latvia "I am a PhD student in Riga Technical University, currently working as a scientific assistant. I am participating in two projects, where one is about affordable technologies for mitigation of membrane biofouling in drinking water treatment and other one is about sustainable wastewater treatment. Additionally, I am working as engineering technician in MEP Solutions Ltd., where I am mainly designing domestic heating supply systems, boiler houses and heating substations."
Architect from Italy. "I have always been interested in Sustainability and environment issues, so, after my bachelor in Architecture, I decided to specialize in Sustainable Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. I worked for a few months in Austria and then came back to Milan to collaborate with some professional studios. I believe in an architecture that combines nature respect with comfort and needs of people."
Architect from Romania "Many jokes about "green"..."architects", but when I speak about "green" I am thinking about Solar Decathlon Europe, Versailles 2014 - the best experience as student decathlet in EFdeN Team, 2 years of green design, green living, green life style. Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) next step in knowledges about sustainability, courses and education in Green Building Professional....and so I start working as LEED consultant for some projects in Bucharest."
Building Engineer from Slovakia "I am an architect engaged on low tech, low energy cost architecture and renovation. My major interest is on strawbale buildings and other natural materials. As member of NGO ArTUR Slovakia (sustainable architecture) I cooperate with professionals on national and European level."
Master electrician from Italy "I am 24 and I’ve been working for Gemmo Spa, an MEP International Contracting Company, for 5 years. I am estimator and commercial representative focused mainly on the electric field. I quantify, design and quote projects from A to Z. Gemmo is also involved in energy saving projects where we propose our clients innovative solutions either for construction or O&M, or both."
Building Engineer from Italy "I am an engineer, currently employed in an engineering company. My job involves building energy modeling, lighting and CFD analysis for the improvement of indoor comfort as well as energy performances of buildings' envelope and system. After a Msc degree in Building Engineering, I obtained a Master in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Measures for buildings. After the master, I have continued to operate in the field of sustainability in buildings."
Architect from France. "Passionate about regenerative and ecological design, I study for a bi-diploma in engineering and architecture in Nantes, France. I strengthened her interests in the subject by doing a one-year internship in Seattle with Jason F. McLennan, creator of the Living Building Challenge and by studying passive house making in the historic cradle: Darmstadt. I am ready to put my energy and enthusiasm to develop Living Buildings in Europe and France."
Architect from Romania. "I am interested in sustainable buildings, holding a Doctoral Degree in Architecture, with the research title “Design premises of nearly zero energy buildings” (conducted by Cristina Ochinciuc) and a master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Energy Audit from U.A.U.I.M, Bucharest. I also work as Assistant professor at the Department of Introduction to Architectural Design, U.A.U.I.M., and as a practicing architect at BIA Nichifor Ioan Alexandru."
Architect from Italy. "Passionate about nature, real sustainability and built environment, I wrote an academic research about environmentally responsive materials' supply chains. I have a BSc in Architecture project management, a MSc in Advanced Environmental and I studied also at the Centre for Alternative Technology (UK). At the moment I am working at Stilenatura, a sustainable design and construction company based in Treviso, developing healthy nZEB buildings in CLT (Cross Laminated Timber)."
Civil Engineer from Lithuania. "LEED for Homes Green Rater and Energy Rater. Extensive international experience (USA, Spain, UK, Lithuania) in sustainable residential building project management incorporating global building sustainability standards as BREEAM, LEED and PassivHaus. Double engineer Degree at UK and Lithuania universities, strong CAD skills, effective communication, fluent in 5 languages. Active member of Lithuanian Green Building Council."

President of the International Living Future Institute. Amanda has been with the Institute, initially overseeing the programs, then as Executive Director and now as CEO. She joined the Institute following a career as a licensed architect with over fifteen years experience designing and managing some of the most sustainable buildings in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining the Institute she co-directed the Sustainable Design Initiative for Perkins + Will across 20 offices worldwide.
President of the Association of Architects of Trento. The architect Susanna Serafini graduated in Architecture in 1989 at the IUAV in Venice. She has been always focusing on sustainability in architecture, both in the profession than in teaching experiences, participating also at numerous conferences and seminars. She is also a licensed architect, providing services from the initial design to the final construction: for projects of different scales and for both public or private clients.
Project Manager – WSGreen Technologies. Giulia studied architecture with specialization in sustainable architecture at the IUAV in Venice. After the graduation with distinction and the state examination moved to Germany and since 2008 works for WSGreenTechnologies, the sustainable department within the Werner Sobek Group. Since 2012 is team leader for sustainable urban design and microclimate and responsible for the competition.

Living Building Challenge Ambassador, with a passion for promoting the Living Building Challenge and the concepts of restorative sustainability in the United Kingdom.
BArch, Dip Arch, MPhil, PhD in Science, LEED AP, Licensed Architect. Emanuele is, since 2010, Associate Professor at the Institute of Technology of the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, School of Architecture. He teaches and researches in the field of Architectural Technology and Environmental Sustainable Design. He is Visiting Teacher Program at the Architectural Association in London (2013) and Nottingham University (2014).
Emmanuel is a LEED AP BD&C, a LEED A/P O+M and a LEED Faculty. He dedicates his time supporting good green building projects. Buildings that lead to improved health for it´s occupants, reduced impact on the environment and profit for the building industry. Early 2016 he co-founded the Living Building Challenge Collaborative Spain. He is the LBC team leader on the first project in Spain that is pursuing Living Building Challenge Certification.
