Civil Engineer from Milan, Italy "I’m a civil engineer with transversal ompetences. I also became LEED AP, that is now my main activity. LEED projects give me more experience in evaluation environmental certifications and enables me to ensure the operational coordination of the team dedicated to the project. Moreover in these projects I had the opportunity to improve my competences in energy dynamic simulation and studies for energy consumption reduction."
Architect from Turin, Italy "I'm a young architect and I attended the Master's Degree in Architecture for Sustainable Project at the Polytechnic of Turin. I'm interested in issues of social and environmental ethics and retraining of existing buildings. Currently, I work for an association that deals with temporary residences and partly as a freelance architect. In free time, I love to travel and go hiking or cycling. I'm passionate about landscaping photography and live music."
Architect from London, United Kingdom "I am trained as an architect with a Master in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. My master’s specialisation was within computational architecture and digital fabrication. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Bath, UK. Within industry I have over 3 years’ experience within the field of landscape design. My passions include innovation, public realm, and passive system."

I am Ph.D. student at the first year in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning at Riga Technical University My competences space between HVAC design, Building phisics, Energy simulations (IDA ICE; Riuska), ASHRAE Standard 90.1 Appendix G. Architect from Seynod, France "From my first professional experience, in 2010, where I was involved in the project of high energy performance dwellings, I’ve begun to be really interested in green design. [...] I believe that my job it’s a great oppurtinity to take place in the implementation of sustainable solutions. Degree in Building Construction Science and Technology, LEED Specialist from Barcelona, Spain "I am the responsible of energy building analysis at Green Living Projects, applying an integrated design approach. We assess project teams in the early design phase with the objective to reach and go beyond their sustainability goals. I have mainly worked on international LEED projects of new construction, existing buildings and interiors fit outs. I am also a member of the LBC Collaborative Spain."
Architect from Trento, Italy. "I am an italian architect, graduated at IUAV Venice with work experiences between Berlin, Porto and Trento. At the moment I am working as a free-lance architect in the Trentino region with particular focus on renovation and high efficiency buildings. Since 2013 I am a certified Passivhaus designer. Over the past two years, I have been responsible for the renovation and extension project for a multipurpose building in Passivhaus standard called “La Provvidenza”."

I am also member of professional romanian organizations: Order of Architects and Union of Architects. That’s way I am interested in arts, history, heritage, architectural theory, urban planning and sustainability."
Architect from Ljubljana, Slovenia "I am a young architect from Slovenia at the beginning of his own professional practice. After his graduation at the University of Ljubljana, I worked for three years with the architect Boris Podrecca in Vienna. Among other projects I was involved also in the project for redevelopment of an Arbo Areal - Projekt Bahnhof Bozen. Currently I am finishing my PhD study on building sustainability assessment. I have a passion for travel and photography."
Architect from Rome, Italy. "Interested in sustainability and BIM process, I attended a Master Degree in Sustainable Design in 2015. I am LEED Green Associate since February 2016 and I always look for chances to learn better about green building practices and environmental issues. I do love traveling and taking pictures of new places. When I am at home, I daydream doing yoga."
Engineer Architect from Bratislava, Slovakia. "As a Slovak architect focused in environmental aspects of designing, I have been trying to apply the concepts I believe in during my life and work experience in Bratislava, Barcelona and Istanbul. I gained related knowledge especially during the Master in Architecture, Energy and Environment at UPC in Barcelona. I was working on climate studies and environmental strategies in architecture and later designing a modular construction system."
Civil Engineer from Modena, Italy "I've studied both the structure and the thermal behavior of buildings, trying to achieve knowledge in both fields and never forgetting the importance to have a united vision in the design. I've helped in the energy upgrade of a country house, following also the structural challenges of such a project. I like doing a lot of things; from gardening to hiking, from cooking to dancing and designing."
Architect from Catania, Italy "Architect and Project management of Tosto Architetti srl, with five years experience in architectural design, planning and coordinating projects. Specialized in sustainable design, bioclimatic architecture and passive solar systems. She collaborates with ABITA., Interuniversity Research Centre, as research assistant in the field of Integrated Projects and European Project Planning. His approach to design look for the integration of innovative solutions."
Jury
She has been with the Institute for over 5 years, initially overseeing the programs, then as Executive Director and now as CEO. She joined the Institute following a career as a licensed architect with fifteen years experience designing and managing some of the most sustainable buildings in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining the Institute she co-directed the Sustainable Design Initiative for Perkins + Will across 20 offices worldwide and managed numerous sustainable projects.
She studied architecture with specialization in sustainable architecture at the IUAV in Venice. After the graduation with distinction and the state examination moved to Germany and since 2008 works for WSGreenTechnologies, the sustainable department within the Werner Sobek Group. Since 2012 is team leader for sustainable urban design and microclimate and responsible for the competition.
Michele is an architect, he lives in Bolzano and works at Studio Associato Knopp &Stramandinoli. He was the president of Ordine degli Architetti della Provincia di Bolzano and he is president of INU Alto Adige-Südtirol, Delegato al Consiglio Nazionale di Inarcassa and provincial expert for the Commissione Edilizia del Comune di Bolzano.

Innovative sustainability, social media & business improvement consultant with over 40 years experience. Living Building Challenge Ambassador, with a passion for promoting the Living Building Challenge and the concepts of restorative sustainability in the United Kingdom.
BArch, Dip Arch, MPhil, PhD in Science, LEED AP, Licensed Architect. He is, since 2010, Associate Professor at the Institute of Technology of the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, School of Architecture. He teaches and researches in the field of Architectural Technology and Environmental Sustainable Design. He is Visiting Teacher Program at the Architectural Association in London (2013) and Nottingham University (2014).
Registered architect, she is the founder and co-owner of Macro Design Studio. In 2003 she obtained the title of Spanish architect. In 2004 Paola attended the first cycle of doctorate at the School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) in the Department of Architectural Design, achieving the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA). With Carlo Battisti she founded in 2015 the Living Building Challenge Collaborative, Italy.

"Si è conclusa un esperienza entusiasmante Regeneration 2016! Concorso di idee tra 15 architetti e ingegneri da mezza Europa per il recupero dell'autostazione di Arco (Trento). 64 ore di competizione a duro lavoro e zero sonno per produrre il miglior progetto, scontri a ferro e fuoco tra ingegneri e architetti, tra conservatori e rivoluzionari, lingue e culture diverse ... Idee, competenze ed esperienze diverse che si mischiano e si contagiano l'uno all'altro. Tanta Adrenalina ed Euforia a braccetto con la tensione per il tempo .. sfociavano sempre in Delirio e "DEgeneration"!!!
